Levaflor Inc. participated in the 22nd Taipei International Building , Construction & Decoration Exhibition between the 16th and the 19th December 2010. At the time when Levaflor is going to enter its 30 years anniversary in the field of architectural industry, we felt it is our responsibility to bring the green products into our daily life and make the public become aware of the environmental issue, and hence, we introduced and displayed green flooring products to meet the market’s demand.
This year, we came up with three main themes:”Raised Access Floor”, “Slip Resistant Floor”and “Carpet Tile” to tackle all flooring problems.
In the collection of raised floor products, we brought not only the popular line, Panasonic Raised Floor, but also Lindner Floor & More and Lindner Nortec into customers’ eyes. Lindner has shot its fame in by manufacturing calcium sulphate panel. It is a 100% green product and is made up only from water, gypsum and recycled newspaper. We have a wide range of coverings from parquet to marble for the customers to choose from and the flooring can be installed in areas such as offices, museums, theatres, airports and households. Lindner’s calcium sulphate panel is endorsed by U.S. LEED Council and therefore, is a new alternative for the floor.
Levaflor believes that it is all employers’ best interest to ensure a safety environment for their employees. Altro Safety Flooring is, therefore, the right solution to accomplish a safe working environment preventing slips and trips. Its biggest feature is that various aggregates like silicon carbide, quartz and aluminum oxide are embedded throughout the whole sheet vinyl to reinforce its slip resistance. This product is suitable to be used in the kitchens, restaurants, hospitals, schools and swimming pools.
Carpet tiles are commonly seen in the offices for the reasons that they could create a comfy and warm atmosphere and reduce the stresses which we accumulate while doing our jobs. Levaflor is the distributor of Suminoe and Milliken carpet tiles giving our clients the choices from made in Japan to made in China. Both Suminoe and Milliken use large amount of recycled and green raw materials in making their carpet tiles so simply walking on them contributes the efforts in protecting environment.
According to the event organiser, there was a total of 1,700 booths and 600 companies which took part in 2010 exhibition; moreover, approximately 61,970 spectators had come to visit it. Due to the fact that Levaflor rented 6 booths in the frequent passing route and every afternoon we provided one-hour light music performed by guitar soloists, we had received an estimated 7,000 visitors in four days. Levaflor believes that it was only the beginning to show our commitment to the environment and we will continue to provide good quality products and professional services for our clients.
